Looks nice but it looks like you included Berlin to Lusatia.
Souther Schleswig and the Normandy do not have any separatist party or anything and Upper Silesia is not in Germany but in Poland.

I´m not sure but did you forget East-prussia? there is indeed a movement in kaliningrad that want back the name Königsberg
and revive the prussian traditions.

I have chosen the wrong map of Europe, a bigger one would have shown the Caucasus as well as more of Russia who has the biggest separatism in the whole world The Seriously Evil Laugh

Silesia is split in two, the Czech Silesia and Polish Silesia also known as Upper Silesia, because Silesia is part of two states just like Sandžak between Serbia and Montenegro and others

You are doing a great job :D
Allow me to make it even harder for you by adding more info XD Czech Silesia could also be added. Then the Novayarassia (or however it was spelled) claims all the land down to Odessa.
And perhaps the Russian speaking areas is eastern Estonia. Sorry for complicating it for you so much :D

I don´t know any organisation that claims a free Lausitz (Lusatia), where did u read that?
And even if, you made it much much too big, that covers nearly half of Brandenburg,
there live maybe 10.000 assimilated Sorbs in some parts, but that´s a tiny minority,
while they are even in Bautzen city a small minority, tho there´re the most.

We had polls in Slovakia only 5% of Hungarians want to separate (there's a difference between autonomy and separation)

If they separate won't they want to be autonomous as well? Separate from Slovakia and be an autonomous sovereign state.
Reply
:iconrodegas:

But they can't separate and they don't plan to separate, they don't want territorial autonomy, they want something like self-government (but still they don't have big support...)

Different situation is in Romania where are bigger tensions.

No big tensions unlike Ukraine, Hungarians will never have their own independent states nowhere in Europe

Well, I was comparing it to Slovakia. In Romania they already had some autonomy somewhere near tirgu mures marosvásárhely?? In Slovakia it's not that important for them, probably because they are in smaller number.
Yes, EU want to unite not to split even more so they won't get support from EU.

Interesting map, sth. I could also imagine is, that the german part of Belgium "Eupen-Malmedy" want indipendance.

Isn´t Lusatia (Lausitz) a bit too big, I think there´re only 10.000 half speakers of sorbisch anymore,
I don´t think they ever get an autonomous region, they´re a small minority there^^

Good map, and interesting! A suggestion: There are still separatists in Northern Ireland, though the conflict is not as violent as in the past. I would also second the Saami as a continuing separatist issue.

As in previous discussion, questions do arise for me of: 1) How serious/realistic/numerous would a separatist movement have to be in order to be included? I take it that "micronations" of one or two people who claim independence would not be, and that this is up to the discretion of whomever is making the  map. 2) A more serious question: At what point or under what conditions would a situation such as Northern Cyprus, Kosovo, or Transdniestria no longer be a "separatist" movement, and simply a matter  of fact whether NATO/EU/Russia/UN likes it or not? In my book, North Cyprus is by now - four decades later - a de facto separate country and for a variety of reasons will never rejoin South Cyprus. Kosovo and Transdniestria, on the other hand, might still be up in the air or have their status changed in some other way such as uniting with a third country... Again, I guess it's a call for the author of the map! :)

Thank you for your concern, I am glad you like it and you want to inform yourself even more

1) There should be an active political party or movement who has as ideology and goal separatism, sovereignism and autonomism and wish to have their own state on the basis of historical territory, regionalism and ethnic majority. Most micronations are very tiny and lack the goals and basis that I said about and most separatists of micronations aren't serious, they just do it for fun or for the sake of having their own country, the leader over it and not pay taxes.

2) Some separatist countries aren't recognized by any sovereign states. Countries like Somaliland and Transnistria aren't recognized by anyone but other not-recognized separatist territories.
Other countries like Northern Cyprus are recognized by one country, Turkey, these are countries with limited recognition, so still considered separatist.

Countries stop being separatist when they are being recognized by a vast majority of sovereign nations and become a part of UN. These states must be independent and able to function on their own and work as a state, not become a chaotic failed state that are on a never ending civil war with the country or countries they try to break away from or they are helped and separated by another country and ends up being a colony or enclave of the country that is helping the separatists state.

I didn't I thought that Sapmi is too big from too many countries, it has zero chances of ever becoming even autonomous but I will have to do all separatist territories, this is the fair thing to do, plus this map seems like it will never be finished, it keep appearing more separatism, especially now in Ukraine and many people will keep pointing out the territories I miss, which I don't mind, I am happy that they help and that they care to make my work accurate and correct

Just like Moravia ;) It has 0% chance of succeeding because there are no Moravians :XD: The people living there do not differ from those of us living in Czechs.  Practically the only people who thinks that Moravians have some sort of independence movement are people from another country. When you get someone waving a Moravian flag at a cultural festival, that does not mean they strive for independence. Just like the party didn't even run in the elections :XD:

I'm saying this not to get you to remove Moravia but to illustrate a point. There is a Sapmi nationality (and even ethnic group) and they have a bigger chance for independence than Moravia so you should include them :XD:
